As 2015 comes close to an end, it has been a busy year for me personally and Justin Slee photography.
A year that saw my work on Northern Ballet come to a conclusion with the exhibition “Avant” and also me finally getting married to my new wife Jayne.
2016 is looking bright with me at the early stages of a new book project Coffee Shop:North. There will be more news on this to come very soon in the New Year.
To finally bring the year to an end I thought I would share a recent day trip I made in November to London. I had in my calender for most of the year a planned trip to visit Gathered Leaves: Photographs by Alec Soth. The First major UK exhibition by award-winning American photographer Alec Soth.
I have been a huge fan of his work from some time and you can catch a little more information on his work via this short video.
The trip was a great relief to the end of a busy year and great opportunity for me to also take some shots with my go to camera system at the moment for wandering the streets with, the Fuji XT1. A great camera and a great exhibition that I totally recommend. Please try catch it if you can it is on until the 28/03/2016 held at the London Science Museum before moving on to the National Media Museum in Bradford.
Please take the time to visit my website in 2016 as I am hoping for a website refresh with lots of new pictures, Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
