In late December 2013, I had a great portrait commission for the New Scientist Magazine shooting Professor Chris Thomas. I have just received the published magazine through the post.
Chris Thomas is an ecologist and evolutionary biologist at the University of York. He specialises in investigating the impact of human behaviour on global biodiversity. I have to admit it does not make much sense to me either but I did totally enjoy spending time with Chris at the University and attempting to pick up some knowledge of the effects of global warming.
It may even be the case that the impact of human activity might actually leave us with more species in the World than first warned.
